Humanitarian response to the DANA floods in Valencia:
Delivering essential supplies to those affected
Following the severe flooding caused by the DANA storm in Valencia in October 2024, Vida Life Spain carried out a humanitarian response aimed at immediately addressing the basic needs of those affected.
In the days following the storm, drinking water, cleaning supplies and food were distributed in different affected areas to support families who had been left without access to essential resources.
The response was carried out in coordination with the Islamic Cultural Centre of Madrid and FESA Quality, combining logistical resources and human effort to reach the areas where help was needed most.
Our work involved receiving, sorting and preparing aid at logistics points, where drinking water, food and support supplies were collected and organised for distribution. The supplies were then transported to Valencia in vans. Thank you to all the volunteers and donors who made this possible!
A response focused on essential needs
The priority was clear: to ensure access to basic supplies during an emergency.
Beyond distributing material aid, the response sought to offer presence, support and dignity to those affected, understanding humanitarian aid as direct and respectful support for people facing extreme circumstances.
Every donation brings relief to those who lost everything.

Emergency context
This response took place in an emergency context marked by a lack of access to essential resources and the need for immediate action. Logistics and coordination between the organisations involved made it possible for aid to reach the places where it was needed at a particularly critical time.
The 2024 DANA floods in Valencia caused serious human and material damage. Every donation made a positive impact by helping us deliver urgent assistance and hope to those affected.
